The PEI-coated Build Plate is flexible, the prints can be removed easily without any tools. The bed is solid, not easy to get scratches even in long-term printing.
It will pause the printing automatically if you run out of your filament, or if the filament is broken.
32bit Mainboard
Sovol Self-developed Mainboard, 32 bit, with TMC 2209, makes the printer work stably and silently. For safety thermal runaway protection is instant & automatic if a thermal error occurs. UART mode is available, more modification can be done easily for advanced users.( Not recommend beginner to modify.)
G34 Auto Z Align
As UART mode is opened on the mainboard, and G34 updated, SV06 Plus has G34 Auto Z align function.If you want to level X axis, all you need to do is click” Auto Z-Aligh*, the printer will process X-axis leveling automatically. Save time and effort.
Belt Tensioner
The big belt tensioner with Sovol lightning sign, very cool, and comfortable to adjust the belt tension to achieve smooth printing result.
Dual Z axis
Dual Z-axis screws and stepper motors improve the accuracy and precision of nozzle’s vertical movement with a specified Z-axis accuracy of 0.001mm.
Resume Printing
The resume printing function can make the printer continue printing perfectly after a power outage.

The Sovol SV06 Plus Printer is nicely packaged for shipping and was quick to assemble. The Sovol/Cura slicer works very well. Several parts needed skirts, but the parts printed well. The latest version of Cura has a profile for this printer, but I was only able to print a few parts with it. Use the Sovol/Cura slicer for best results.
As supplied by Sovol, the magnetic print bed didn't provide good print adhesion because of oil or grease on the bed. Isopropyl alcohol was not able to clean the bed sufficiently. But I was able to find that Dawn dish washing detergent cleans the bed much better. Rinse it well. And then MagiGoo!

I like how easy to level, and it can work for days before it needs to be leveled again.
This is my first 3d printer so I don’t have much experience. It was super easy to put together and set up! The box came with an extra mat but it wasn’t mentioned in any of the paperwork. I eventually found a Reddit post that helped but it would be nice if there was more information on the Solvol website. It came with a micro SD and USB adapter which was unexpected but very handy. The included slicing software is pretty easy to use. The printer itself prints fairly nicely without much adjustment, I’ve gotten some pretty nice fits in print in place objects. Overall I’m happy with my purchase!
Super smooth installation and setup. Z offset calibration could be better by providing a .2mm card to work with, however. I installed the Klipper panel that SOVOL has and made an already great printer even better. Love that they have the full cad file of this machine, make it super easy to design mods for it for better cooling (part and heater block). Love the size, 300x300 bed size is the perfect fit for what I print.
