The printer came to me with a broken screen. Not working at all. They replaced it. Turned it on and the Z motors will not engage and I get errors. They kept trying to get me to trouble shoot it after I told them I was done trying to repair a brand new 800 printer. They kept saying try this, try that. I did, and nothing and kept getting the run around. I told them I was done and wanted a refund. They kept saying try fixing this or that and we'll give you a 80 dollar refund, then a bit later an 30 dollar refund. Not sure why it got less but whatever. Then I sent a very stern email and they said fine return it but you're past the time for us to pay for shipping, which was most due to the fact they kept putting me off. I have reviewed a lot of printers on my channel, and have never had one that had this many issue right out of the box and this poor customer service. Even though it will probably cost a fortune, I will be mailing this back. They are not keeping my money for this. And I will be doing a video on how poor of a printer this is.
Had the T500 for a few days now. Followed instructions and done about 10 prints so far. No print has failed yet. Printing over network and even on cura 5.9. All working great so far and hope the success continues. Also, I did not nor will try to monkey around and start replacing or upgrading parts that have no need to be fiddling with, just leave stock as was designed and hope for the best.
After a quite a couple of bigger prints i can surely say, that i would buy this printer again.
The print quality exceeds my expectations for a printer this size (i also own a Creality K1C and a Bambulab P1S to compare).
But it's also to say, that this is no beginner device!
I put it in housing, modified the cooling of the elecronics to avoid overheating in the heated housing and changed the filament holder (see image).
Filament / Spoolholder doesn't convince me - the only thing i have to criticise.
Der Comgrow T500 ist ein sehr Solider und großer Drucker, der hält was er verspricht.
Er ist gut verarbeitet und druckt für seine Größe sehr gut.
Wer so einen großen Drucker sucht, ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig.
Sehr überzeugt hat mich auch der super Kundenservice, der immer und sehr schnell geantwortet hat.
If your looking for a massive, fast, quality printer. Look no further because this thing is a BEAST! I was in the market for a bigger printer so at first I bought the creality cr-m4. Huge mistake. The cr-m4 was a huge piece of junk. Never got it to print reliably. Always had big time layer shifting anytime I would try to print something of size. Benchys no problem! But I didnt buy a 450 by 450 printer to print benchys. The build quality is comparable to the snapmaker artesian. And its about as fast as you can get for a bed slinger of this size. Only thing bad I have to say about it...........ITS SO LOUD! I have this thing in my garage and I can hear it through my garage door in the kitchen 25ft away. So if your wifey doesnt like the noise printers make like my wife, either dont buy this printer, or ask for a divorce!!!!!! Id go with the latter because this thing is a must have!
